eNATAL - Electronic Prenatal Records System

TabletPC and eNATAL
Imagine strolling from room to room with a tablet that brings you the complete prenatal record for every OB patient in your practice

Your Practice is Ready for TabletPCs & eNATAL

Two technologic advances have made it remarkably easy to bring the power of clinical computing and eNATAL to your practice.

First, the installation of a wireless network eliminates the need for expensive hard-wiring and the need for computers in every exam room. With an inexpensive DSL connection (~ $50/month), wireless adaptors for each computer (~$60-$80), and a wireless hub (~$100), every computer in your office can have a high-speed connection to the Internet.

Second, after several false starts with mobile computers that were heavy, clunky, whose battery life was short, the industry has finally got it right with TabletPCs. These computers weigh around 3 pounds with a battery-life of 3-4 hours, built-in wireless connectivity, and crisp color displays at a XGA resolution. This all means that it is now practical to use TabletPCs in clinical practice at the point-of-care.

eNATAL was designed to minimize text entry (which can still be trying even with TabletPCs) and the only software required to use eNATAL is an Internet Explorer browser. With a wireless network, carefully-placed inexpensive desktop PCs, and TabletPCs for clinicians, you have all you need to start using eNATAL immediately!
